![]() Also the heroes start with one experience point that they can choose to spend right away or save until later. The players get to only keep one piece each time and decide who it goes to. Every time you kill a set number of monsters (determined by the number of heroes) then the game doles out some treasure. The hero characters aren't without their own advantages. A peril deck and the doom track ensures that the hero players have to keep moving deeper into the dungeon or suffer further. Add on top of that, the players get little rest once they have completed a room card's challenge. Each room introduces some new peril such as draining your fatigue every turn, the need to rescue an innocent villager, or overwhelming monster odds. ![]() To counter the fact that the dungeon is programmed, it is also very unforgiving. Forgotten Souls is one of several adventures that takes away the need for an Overlord, moving their tasks to a series of cards and instructions. Players who sit down at the table aren't always aware of this so it leads to mixed expectations and opinions of the overall game. When my work is viewed I hope the viewer will feel the energy of the water as it was captured and enjoy the ethereal qualities of the forms as they have a delicate beauty that makes the image seem not to be part of the real world. Water can be calming, graceful, tranquil, powerful, strong, still or free flowing. I enjoy exploring natures elements, one of my favourite subjects to photograph is water. A world where at that age, I thought only I knew and understood because it was viewed through my eyes. Looking down the lens was like a different world, a form of escapism. I discovered photography at the tender age of 9 years old where I was anxious and couldn’t wait to own a camera some day.
